Here’s an update on the ladies retreat-
Our theme was “What’s Under Your Hat”, and we had 3 speakers who talked about what should be under your hat if you are a Christian woman growing in faith and maturing in your walk with the Lord. We used a smaller separate room at Copper Basin for just the speakers and the singing, which made all the difference from the huge lodge room next to the kitchen. Our activity for the weekend was for everyone to make decorated hats which served to remind each lady of what she had learned from the retreat, and to make them feel pretty. Feeling good about yourself is the first step to being able to reach out to others. The purpose of a retreat is to regroup, and renew to follow the Lord more closely, and to have the courage to reach out to others, and our ladies from East View who hosted felt like that was a success.
